We are currently looking for candidates for our 2014 Summer Internship Program.
Visa's Research & Development (R&D) team operates as part of the company's Technology Office, under the leadership of the Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
The mission of the R&D team is to scan the external environment for new technology trends, threats and opportunities and investigate disruptive and/or emerging technologies which could have real applicability to Visa. The R&D team provides advice to Visa's technology and business communities on emerging technology and is responsible for creating a pipeline of prototypes where clear technology and/or business opportunities have been identified.
VisaLabs has created a new modeling and rule engine language, OpMesh. This project would enable a code base that is easier to maintain, has richer capability and is more stable than existing code base. OpMesh is being sent to both issuers and merchants and the stability and capability of the system is critical.
-This project would explore new parsing algorithms and techniques.
-Roadmap to refactor existing OpMesh parser.
-Master or PhD candidate in Computer Science or similar major
-Experience with Compilers/Parsers
